Osteopathy

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of treatment where the practitioner uses their hands. Techniques such as massage, joint articulation and manipulation may be used, as well as gentler cranial techniques, working on the belief that the body has powerful self-correcting mechanisms that are activated when balance is restored.

What can osteopathy help?

It can help a wide spectrum of problems and disorders both physical and emotional. These include arthritis and rheumatism, asthma, birth trauma, bone, joint and muscular sprains, circulatory problems, headaches and migraines, infant colic, sleep disturbance, trigeminal neuralgia and sciatica. Osteopathic treatment is suitable for all ages from newborns onwards.
